Trust and safety

What we check, what we act on, and how to report something that looks wrong.

Last reviewed: 1 September 2026

The commitments

  • No listing claims we cannot check against a public source.
  • No unlabelled paid placement, anywhere.
  • No invented reviews or testimonials.
  • No agency submitting applications before it is verified.
  • No student data visible to anyone outside the file it belongs to.

What we act on

We suspend accounts and remove listings for:

  • forged or altered documents;
  • impersonating an institution, an agency or a student;
  • soliciting payment outside the platform, or to bank details that do not match the institution’s published ones;
  • guaranteeing admission, a visa or an outcome;
  • hiding a commission relationship from a student.

Warning signs worth knowing

  • Anyone guaranteeing you a place or a visa. Nobody can.
  • Payment details that arrive in a message and differ from the institution’s published ones.
  • Pressure to pay today for a deadline you cannot verify.
  • A request for your password or a one-time code. We will never ask.
  • An adviser who discourages you from contacting the institution directly.

Report something

Email support@admission.ly, open a ticket from your portal, or use the contact form. Include the page or application reference and what you saw. For a security vulnerability, use the security route instead.
